Dr Nikki Stamp

Dr Nikki Stamp FRACS is an Australian trained cardiothoracic surgeon and holds a Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine with Honours along with a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in cardiothoracic surgery. Her clinical interests include heart failure and transplantation and coronary artery disease with a focus on women and prevention. Nikki has a strong desire to change the way we think about health.

She is a sought-after speaker, mentor and a prominent participant in the social media campaign #ILookLikeASurgeon. Nikki was chosen as one of 40 under 40 for Time Out Sydney, as well as one of Harpers Bazaar’s Women of the Year for 2017. She has appeared as the host of Heartbeat: The Miracle Inside you – a episode of ABC’s flagship science show Catalyst and is the host of PodcastOne’s Women with Heart – Dr Nikki Stamp. Her first book, Can You Die of a Broken Heart? was released in March 2018.
