Sarah Newman

Sarah identifies as a doctor with mental health challenges, and is passionate about sharing her experiences with her colleagues. She is currently Assistant Director of the Doctors Health Advisory Service WA, and former Co-chair of the AMA (WA) Doctors in Training Welfare Subcommittee. In 2017, Sarah was named Camille Michener Junior Doctor of the Year for her advocacy in doctors’ welfare. She is also a passionate and messy cook, amateur illustrator and author, and an aspiring chardonnay connoisseur.
